Accckkk! SO stoked for college. Cannot freaking waiiit. I went to the new student orientation thing today, and I am so satisified with my class choice for the first quarter. I met this girl from Bainbridge Island named Caitlin and she and I are exactly alike and it is so scary, but freaking awesome! We're even wanting to hang out this summer! Wouldn't it be tight if we ended up being roomies? Yaaaa, tiiight. She was hilarious.
First thing's first. I've decided that my tentative major for now is music with a focus on vocal performance and a minor in theology.
Next! The classes I have for my first quarter are as follows:
USEM: Mystery and Music
Musicianship 101 (aka music theory)
Women's Choir
CS Lewis philosophy class
Hooray! I do have a class every single day, but my Wednesdays are free after 10:50 am, and same with my Fridays. Yayyy.
ACK. It feels amazing to get everything pretty much set in stone. I'm sure my major/minor will change. But the first seminar I chose to attend was the 'Undecided' one. A theatre prof led the seminar, and he said "follow your passion". So I was like, hmm. What is my passion? Hmm...yeah. Nothing else really stood out as boldly as music did. As far as careers go? I don't even care about that right now! I just want to learn and grow, and he said that's okay to do. So bam. There we have it. Who knows what I'll be?! I just can't wait for this.
WellImean, I can. But it'll be cool when it happens.
I don't really know why some pictures are larger than others. I'm trying out this new camera thing, and it's kinda crappy-like,
but they're still fun. We had a blast. Especially when Alex called Sean to ask what he was wearing in a sexy, raspy voice.
Good work, Alex.
