Theodore “The Cardman” Adams was a piano player who did well in the jazz circuit with a band, but quit when his bass-strumming lover disappeared. Mob involvement, the fuzz would say, but Theo didn’t buy that at all. He did his best (and most gut-wrenchingly sad) solo work just before he left, and no one’s sure where he is now.
