[ the feed isn't the steadiest; Asuka's running, sidestepping certain jagged spikes of crystals and calling out orders to three Pokémon at once. She's also cradling a blue and pink egg in one arm and looking... frustrated. ]Does anyone know how far this is extending? I've heard this is originating from some kind of ruins, but with so many of them

[And suddenly Rika is running beside her, both of her pokémon in tow and her Drifloon carefully holding a pink egg.]

I'm doing the best I can--Hope, use Ember! [Several Unown fly out of the way after being burned.]

[She can't help but smile a little.] ...It looks like that new pokémon is going to be helpful!

[ once the glow dies down, Asuka's staring at a Mime Jr., one who looks rather determined. ] From the beginning, at that.

[She smiles and points to her Drifloon, who's still holding the egg and keeping it out of harm's way.] We may have another Mime Jr. hatching soon.

Eh? We've got siblings?

How exciting! They'll be able to play together sometimes!

Yours must be close to hatching, as well.

I hope so. I can't wait to see him in action.

[ and Asuka's waves his little arms and bobs his head in agreement. ] I think you've been seconded-- or thirded.

I think I have! [She looks over at the egg, which has begun to wiggle a little.]

[primaduelerina]

[ and her Drifloon swoops off to deter another batch on Unown, while Asuka moves closer to Rika. ] I also think you won't have much longer to wait.

[Rika's Drifloon floats towards her, watching the egg carefully as it wiggles. Meanwhile, her Vulpix is fending off Unown. Rika smiles a little.] It looks like it. I can't wait to see it.

It might not be the best time to hatch, but...

[action]

[complexrestart]

That's true. But at least he could help us. [The egg wiggles again, almost as if in response to Rika's words.]

[primaduelerina]

[ Asuka's Mime Jr. stretches out his arms towards the egg, pantomiming breaking out of it-- including flexing his muscles. ]

They seem bright from birth, too.

And energetic! Both of which are good qualities. [The egg wiggles more forcefully this time.] Hmm, I think he wants to hatch, but isn't ready just yet.
