Hello.
First off...let me make a quick introduction. My name is Jes. I'm 16 and I reside in California, USA.
You're probably thinking "Who the heck is this person and why is she e-mailing me?" Well, you guys definitely don't know me but I think we have something in common: We have read FictionLyn's stories. In fact, I have gotten your e-mails through FictionLyn's journal.
Today, I was going down my Favorites list and I was reading up on FictionLyn's journal and I saw that she had closed. I was really shocked. I was sad definitely but...I believe she has given us a lot. She's shared her writing with us. I love, love, love her stories. I hope you guys can relate.
Well, I decided to do something. I figured...if she spent years sharing her gift with us, we could do a little something in return. It's not much...but...I believe it's the thought that counts. I would like to set up a small thank you website for FictionLyn located at: http://mesmerize.nu/fictionlyn/
I haven't designed in quite a while so I am a bit rusty but I am willing to try.
So why am I wasting your time and e-mailing you?
I was wondering...since you have enjoyed her stories, if you could just write a small note to FictionLyn and it would be posted on the website. You can take a picture of something that reminds you of her stories and make something out of that. If you are good at graphics...make something out of that. Make an e-card. A fansign. Etc. Just anything small you can think of that I could put up on the website. If you have any suggestions...I am more than willing to listen.
