Just got off work, and gave them my last day I was available before school. This summer has literally gone by in the blink of an eye. Hours turned into weeks, turning into only less than a month remaining until I go back. Its the weirdest feeling in the world, being in college, I never thought I'd be this age when I was little.
Jeremy came over while I was organizing Judy's pictures for her birthday. I felt kind of bad, this year I showed up my dad on gifts- Hes been really weird since he retired from teaching and is working at the airport...I think he hates it. Anyway, we called Colin, and ended up going out to Miamisburg to get Ron's pizza...pretty much the BEST pizza on the planet. We drove for like 45 minutes both ways and listened to highschool choir and opera cd's. When we got there we revealed to Miamisburg what an African American person looks like. We walked by the river and saw how haunted the town was.
SO TOMORROW. I'm going- get ready- CANOEING. yeah, seriously- can you SEE me canoeing? With Mimi, Sean and my mom. I will HAVE to take pictures of this shit, this is the type of stuff that happens once in a lifetime in our family- my mom and her kids in an f-ing canoe. Actually, Mimi and I are in one and I bought us water guns to squirt Judy and Sean in the other one- and remember, Mimi is 29, and it was her idea- its gonna be extra salty. Then we're going to the National Exemplar to celebrate Sean graduating college slash Danielle's birthday.
This weekend I went and took care of Katie after she got her wisdom teeth taken out. That girl, I love her. I made her eggs and smoothies, and put her ice pack in and out of the fridge- but she pretty much did everything else. We watched almost the entire Anne of Green Gables, Anne of Avonlea series, which made me melancholy that I live in this day and age with modern girl's views on love and fate.

the tattoo i'm getting will say "O Soave Fanciulla" with angel wings on both sides- it means "oh wondrous angel", and is the beginning of my favorite phrase in my favorite opera, la boheme. im scurred.
