Bethany just went home. It seems like she just got here! We watched Meet the Fockers. There isn't alot to do at my house or in Port Orchard. Yesterday Beth had a seizure at her school during an assembly. An ambulance had to come get her and everything. She was really tired today and so we wanted to do something kind of low key. I'm so glad she is okay. She was sitting at the bottom of the bleachers because she was helping with video production stuff for the junior assembly. I guess she was in charge of the lighting. She said all of a sudden it felt like there was a curtain closing over her eyes and when she woke up she was exhausted and in an ambulance. Her parents got to the hospital really fast because her dad's a police officer so he heard about it over his intercom. I guess he followed right behind the ambulance in his police car. Her new school is way smaller than sk so within an hour everybody had heard about it. Her sister Tory said she saw the ambulance drive up but thought it was part of the sophomore assembly. I guess they had some demonstration going on about drunk driving and already had a bunch of ambulances at the school anyway. Beth told me that she fell on to one of her friends then all the way off the bleachers and was tangled in the wires on the floor. Thank god she wasn't at the top of the bleachers or she would have fell all the way down. She doesn't remember falling, just knows what her friends told her. She said she is mortified because she's already the new girl in a small highschool but now she doesn't want to be known as the new girl who had a seizure. I'm just glad she's okay. It's so weird the doctors did a tun of tests and couldn't find any reason for her to have a seizure and nothing like this has ever happened to her before. On Friday when I was at school, it was really strange I left my cell phone on during class which I never do. I didn't hear it ring but heard the beep telling me I had a voice mail. I tried to check my voice mail and for some weird reason it wouldn't let me check it and normally I would have thought it was a wrong number but I got this freaked out feeling and knew it was something important. So even though I wasn't supposed to be on my phone in class I tried for like 15 minutes to check my voice mail and I just kept getting this weird operator saying "We're sorry but the number you have tried to reach is out of service. No further information is available. Please hang up and try your call again." I kept putting in my password over and over and I know it was the right password. Then when I came home and put my password in the same way it worked. It was the message from Beth telling me she had a seizure and she was crying. I'm just glad she's fine now. I hope school goes okay on Monday and that people don't try to turn it into some kind of cruel joke to make fun of her. I wish she still went to SKHS with everyone she knows and that all of us could be with her. It has to be bad enough being the new girl but now she's gunna be the girl who had a seizure. I told her there could be some good in it because the ones who care and try to be there for her will show who the true friends are that she's making.
