For Kaidoh's birthday, only it's not Kaidoh's birthday in the story. I suppose it might be Special Friends Who Are Boys Day, though. Thanks to alice_and_lain for the prompt "comic book super-heroes"! It was useful. :) Some of Inui's dialogue is from Wikipedia.
