Wow! Great ideas you get from talking about this... opens up possibilities.

At first glance, Ryoma does seem better suited to Hyoutei (or even Rikkai, provided that he gets on the Regulars), but Seigaku's better for him. Just better. All the same, this almost makes Hyoutei!Ryoma work. And that little jab at Hiyoshi ^^.

But no one can ever replace Tezbear in Ryoma's affections! *turns fangirly*

I think Seigaku gave Ryoma something besides tennis, which was what he really needed to help him grow.

Poor Hiyoshi! He's never going to get a break, is he?

I thought Seigaku made Ryoma's tennis human, or smtg. That way he wasn't some Nanjiroh Jr. android... In any case, Seigaku > Hyoutei for Ryoma.
