Wow, great day.

I knew this week would be good, and it was, with the exception of my car battery being defective and driving out to BFE to get a new one. Even so, that ended up being okay because I didn't have to go into work (which was fine b/c I came in 3 hours early on Tues) and got lots more done. It was definitely a productive week. And it's flown by.

Last night was Erin's party. It was a packed day of classes then hurrying off to Kerstin's dinner til 8 then hurrying home to set up stuff, etc. The decorations turned out great and so on and so forth, but I think people need to keep in mind one sure-fire thing when they are planning a party. Make sure you have more than enough liquor. Because you can always use the liquor that's left over, but you can't make people drunk without enough of it. And needless to say Erin wasn't real happy that the people we designated to get stuff didn't come through. She pissed me off more than once because she was generally acting ungrateful for the party. Though I was getting a lot of shit for things that were decided by Bickers and had no control over. But you can't tell the birthday girl that, you have to keep your mouth shut. So I did.

So I said today was great, but it actually had it's ups and downs. I woke up to finish Gattaca and wash the party off of me from the night before. I got ready in a hurry and went to the 2p documentary screening. It was interesting and I was excited to see everyone's film. I wish I wanted to talk about them more but I've honestly talked them to death about 6 or 7 times, at least. All in all, good first half. Then Erin and Alex and I ate at Jim and Milt's and went to my house where I watched some Barry Lyndon and slept for like 15 minutes until the 7p screening. I was really looking forward to people seeing our film, but also nervous, as is my tendency. The 2nd half was wonderful and I'm really very glad I tried not to see many of the movies that played. We were well received which is all I could have hoped for.

So then there was a down point for about an hour when I wanted to cut someone, but that ended rather quickly.

I went to Billy's house for Chris Acevado's birthday. We're "facebook" friends b/c I saw his play and sent him a message saying I liked it, but we never officially met in person. But hey, it's Bill's house and I was invited so whatever. Me and Erin went and it wasn't bad, I mostly talked to Andrew and Justin Wolfe and Erin and Billy. But then I met a couple new people and ended up talking to people that I hardly knew for a good long time. God, I love that. And it was weird b/c they all knew me through people in facebook and shit. Seriously, facebook is amazing. But it was this Jay guy who's in Billy's band, then I actually got to talk to Chris, I hung out with Samir a lot more (very cool guy), and strangely enough Billy just called b/c Jay wanted to talk to me. WTF?! That kid, I can't even describe him. It's like he's annoying, but kind of funny. And it's like he has ADD but is on a 3-day crystal meth binge too. I told Erin, I can't even comprehend the amount of energy this guy is expending. And it's true! I imagine him sleeping really well at night b/c he's just worn out, like a little child or puppy you just let run around. Fun party. Ha.

I'm off to bed. Gym in the morning and Kerstin's BBQ. I'm debating how long I want to go for b/c I also have some homework.

Bad news: I now have to wake up at 730a 4 times a week (only 3 starting in October) and 930 once a week. Good news: I get out early on Fridays and I get an extra hour of work in on Mondays. I guess it all evens out. We'll see. I still don't know how much I'm getting paid. Gah.
