Now, time to save every cent. Peanut Butter & Jelly and homemade lunches! No more freaking $9.00 downtown manhattan sandwiches! Make some cutbacks, sell my unneeded stuff, and be ready for anything. My cameras are glowing! My wallet is withered!

I gave myself enough time that I do not need to rush through anywhere. Unlike past trips, where big cities were goals and destinations, it's the little stops that are going to goal this time. This itinerary is a rough sketch of the path that I intend to take, but I expect to stop and stay along the way.

From Mumbai, I will travel North through Gujarat into Rajasthan. In Rajasthan, I'll make my way to Jodhpur, then Jaipur, then once I've had my fill of the desert, onto Delhi. Northward I'll go through Haryana into Punjab, stopping in Chandigarh (for my brother), Amritsar, Sultanpur (!), and then, depending on Visas and politics, a foray into Pakistan for Lahore. Down down down south back through Delhi, onto Agra and due east through Uttar Pradesh. Nepal! Kathmandu! Then out of there, quick stop in Shiliguri and north to Darjeeling. Then south, and this is a big part I'm really excited for: Bangladesh. Dhaka and Chittagong, just look on google earth. Oh my god. Yes. Then I'll head south down the riverside to Cox's Bazar, which my Deshi friends insist I don't miss. Some time on the beach will be nice! After that, I'll go back up through the country and out to make my last stand in Kolkata.
