Damn you Koko de wa Hisoyaka ni. I only read the manga so that I wouldn't have to listen to the bld since I don't really want to deal with anymore Koyasu x Takeuchi. But nooooo, I WANT to listen to the bld now AFTER reading the manga cuz of Yusa. LDKgjsljslkfjsdlgksdjlkj YUSA YOUR CHARACTER MADE ME CRY. AND IF THE BANGAIHEN IS NOT COVERED IN THE BLD, I'M GONNA FLIP TEACUPS.
gerai_neon, if you have not heard this one cuz of Koyasu, PLEASE GO LISTEN TO IT FOR YUSA.
Net was so biatchy, so I watched ep 22 of Jigoku Shoujo Futakomori yay 4 more to go and it was emo as usual. Then I read Chitose Peeco's The Strongest Love Magic just cuz I needed some pwp, but the second story ended up making me cry. I feel so adlkgjdlkgj. The story was about this dude who saved a young boy from getting hit by a car, the boy was unharmed but he was obviously injured. He was actually meant to die, but the boy made a deal with him in his subconscious - the boy would link his life with his, until his last wish is redeemed. Dude's only wish was actually for the guy whom he liked for years to like him back, which he felt seemed impossible.
When he woke up, he only had minor injuries on him, while the boy was totally fine; but remained unconscious. Dude seeks out the guy he liked and confessed to him, whom much to his surprise returned his feelings. Dude thinks that now that his wish has come true, he would die.
But after they got together, main dude finds out that his bf might actually still have feelings for his older cousin, who disappeared years ago. So it was possible that his bf did NOT really return his feelings, that's why he was still alive._. Then later on in the hospital, he sees the cousin of his bf (whom he recognised from a photograph in bf's house) and finds out that he was the father of the boy he saved who til now remained unconscious.
Main dude felt torn, but he told bf to come to the hospital to reunite with his older cousin, and then telling bf to go back to his cousin. Older cousin was kinda kawaisou cuz his wife died years ago, and his only son was in a coma now.
A few days passed, and the bf came by to look for the main dude, and got pissed that main dude was hiding and avoiding him, then told him that what he felt for his older cousin was probably admiration, not love. Overjoyed, main dude was so happy and thought to himself that it was alright to die now, for real. And as he hugged the bf, he went limp in his arms. In his subconscious, he meets with the boy in the coma, and he told the boy that it was alright now, he's ready to go. But the boy shows him scenes of the bf crying, and main dude realised that he didn't want to leave after all. Like hello. Slow much?
I feel cheated for crying over this now bah.
Thennnnnn I read Koko de wa Hisoyaka ni, and I was kinda surprised to find out that it's a vampire-themed story. Half laXD Koyasu was a vamp, and Takeuchi orz. Shitty past, abandonment and those nonsense enough to make him weak and pathetic, except he's not weak and pathetic YAY. Then there's Yusa, Takeuchi's best friend in here. Takeuchi sells his body, and his latest customer turned out to be Koyasu - who was a vampire. After sucking his blood once, Takeuchi felt changes occuring in himself. Uh, although Takeuchi's not weak and pathetic here, let's just say he's a lil unstable, and tried to take his life-_-
After that, Takeuchi finds out that Koyasu is actually a vampire, and that SO MANY YEARS ago, he was in love with Takeuchi's mom, who gave birth to him, then passed over. His mom actually got pregnant with some dude, and got disowned by her family. She ran to Koyasu, who protected her, and before she died, she begged Koyasu to look out for her child, which Koyasu agreed._.
But then we spent a couple of chapters experiencing Takeuchi's confusion with Koyasu's feelings for himself, whether it was for him or his dead mother. Bla and bla.
MOVING ON, THE WHOLE POINT I'M LJ-ING IN THE FIRST PLACE IS FOR YUSA'S BEST FRIEND ROLE HERE KAY?
Yusa's always worried for Takeuchi, and becomes even more concerned when Takeuchi starts feeling faint in school, looking pale and stuff. Then one time, he sees Koyasu and asked bout him, which Takeuchi says is a customer. Not really a lie but pfft fine.
Then at the end of chapter 4, when Koyasu goes away which Takeuchi presumes for good, he slits his wrist and sits on the bathroom floor, waiting for Koyasu to come save him. At the same time, Yusa rejected some friends' invitation and decided to check on Takeuchi. He comes in, but Koyasu got there first, and is feeding Takeuchi his own blood to heal him, to which shocks Yusa and when Takeuchi regains consciousness after receiving blood from Koyasu, all he saw was Koyasu and ignored Yusa even when Yusa kept calling out to him. Angry and disgusted, Yusa left.
After that incident, everything returned to normal. But Takeuchi was actually slowly turning into a vampire, craving for blood etc. He talks to Yusa, and when Yusa asked him why would he sell his body, he answered that he only has a photo of his mother since she died after he was born, and also never knew his father, and was brought up by his mother's brother. He admitted that he led a very unhappy childhood life, and one day when he was going home from school, an older man approached him asking for sex and then he realised how good it was to have body contact and someone else's warmth besides yours. Yusa is shocked and hugs Takeuchi, and tells him that he can stop sleeping with random people, and he would provide him with all the warmth he wanted. Takeuchi just laughs it off and says they should go for lunch.
Later that night when Yusa was going to Takeuchi's place, he sees Koyasu, flying in the air and was kinda kdgjldkg?! He tries to tell Takeuchi to stay away from Koyasu and suddenly kisses Takeuchi, but Takeuchi bites him instead, making him bleed. Thrilled by the sight of blood, Takeuchi wanted more. Terrified at what Takeuchi had turned into, Yusa ran.
Happy end for Koyasu and Takeuchi? Not yet. Yusa is seen holding a blade, and heading off to dunno where later that day. As usual when nightfall arrives, Takeuchi waits for Koyasu to come in by his balcony window. This time though, Koyasu falls over, and there's a stab wound in his back. WHO'S DOING I WONDER Yusa appears and asks Takeuchi to wake up, and look at the truth. Enraged, Takeuchi bites Yusa but not enough to kill him and as Yusa slowly loses consciousness, he sees Takeuchi with a look of despair on his face; and then Takeuchi, Koyasu and someone else.
One month later, Yusa wakes up in the hospital much to his mother's relief. Asking his mother about Takeuchi, he was shocked when his mother asked him back who was Takeuchi? Sad, Yusa laments that Takeuchi had left him and went to another world. He felt that his actions to kill Koyasu were futile because even if Koyasu was dead, Takeuchi would not be his.
BANGAIHEN: where I cried like hellllll
Yusa recovers and goes back to school, numbed by the fact that no one remembers Takeuchi but him. He wonders to himself was it a curse or a blessing that Takeuchi did not erase his existance from his memories, or perhaps Takeuchi thought he was special and left memories of him behind.
Years later, when Yusa is working, and has a family; his young infant son points out that someone was watching them in the park. All Yusa saw was the back of someone, who could have been Takeuchi, and wonders if Takeuchi was here to visit him?
Fast forward another ten years or so, Yusa probably overworked himself and fell ill, contracting a fatal disease and didn't have long to live. He was always waiting, and waiting for Takeuchi to show up. And as he was walking, he thought he sees him across the road but loses sight of him. At the office, he sees a card from his son wishing him a happy birthday, and reminds himself that he cannot die yet, for the sake of his family--with that thought on his mind, he passed out and is then admitted to the hospital.
When he opened his eyes, he sees Takeuchi who teases him for getting old and skinny and blames it on the disease. Then he asks Yusa whether it still hurt anymore? It shouldn't since he had given Yusa his blood, for him to get better. Takeuchi tells him to live well, and live for them as well, and hops out the window. Looking out the window, Yusa sees Takeuchi with Koyasu, and wasn't surprised that he was alive; but he was just glad that Takeuchi smiled, the same smile that remained unchanged from 20 years ago.
Yusa lived out his years, all the while looking out the window wondering if Takeuchi would come in from the window and come for him?
FUCK. KOYASU DOKE. I THINK I PREFER YUSAXTAKEUCHI NOW. SHIT.
Wao wth. I took less than an hour to type this whole wall of text out. Okay, shall sleep. And maybe listen to the bld. Classes from 9 to 1 later. HOW THE HECK AM I GONNA WAKE UP?!
