I'm not going to try to be subtle. I'm logging into every old social media thing I have in order to post this:

See because my wiener dog got sick, and had to have surgery, which thankfully he survived, but now I have a huge vet bill, and I'm begging because five thousand dollars is a huge amount of money to me.
Unlike some other idiots I've see on LJ, my wiener dog is real and so are his bills. Because I'm not an asshole I'm going to post a few cell phone pics. Sorry for the poor quality. I haven't hooked up the flatbed yet. This isn't a "social experiment" and I'm not a troll, just a lady with a huge scary vet bill.
There are a couple of ways you can help. One is by giving money. A penny, a dollar, a thousand dollars, it all adds up and I appreciate every tiny little bit.
The other way you can help is by spreading the word. Even if you don't have the money to contribute you may have friends who do, so send them my link, especially if they're dog lovers.
If we go over the goal of 5k, I plan to divide up the surplus among people on GoFundMe who also have vet bills. In the extremely unlikely event that there aren't any, I'll probably divide it among Animal Trustees of Austin, Emancipet, and the local dachshund rescue.
