I just saw this movie called Story of a Weeping Camel, it's this kind of National Geographic documentary that these German guys filmed, about a white baby camel who gets neglected by his mother. It takes place in Mongolia. It was a real kind of film, a simple plot, pretty much about the camel, and the culture of the Mongolese people, simple subtitles, but I just loved looking at the people's faces. They were so clean, and pure. Their eyes were bright, open, and honest. And when I looked at one of the girl's faces, I dunno, I just thought she was so beautiful. I can't really explain it really. I'm sure you can follow the clean and honest part though. I just feel drawn to that earthy human-ess. I don't always like all this complexity and mask-wearing. It takes too much energy sometimes.
Anyways, I realize I get a big F for posting pictures, like ever, so these are my major spring break Tennessee pics that I took. Because, subsequently, I also fail at taking pictures. But, here's somethin.
Yeah, this was what I did every night, with two other sexy chicas, to unwind, you know, after a hard trail-making day's work
This is Bobby. Bobby was one of the Rangers who just happened to come along with our Keene State group, and show off his banjo. I liked him a lot.
This was taken right after 4 of us jumped off a 60 ft. bridge into 21 ft water. It was incredibly amazing. Left to right, Allie, Alex, Kat, me, and Jon. Kat didn't end up jumping, but she attempted
This was our last day, and I must admit, we dug ourselves some fine trail in Soddy Daisy, TN
On the last day, part of our hike was to scale down some rock, "army style" as too many people put it, but all the same, it made the experience a little more rugged (fun)
We had a bonfire pretty much every night too, and some nights the other college groups came down, some nights, it was just us NH kids
This was where we were on our very first day out, and Allie and I climbed down to eat lunch on the water. I guess like 5 other kids of our group came down too
This was the best and biggest thing I saw in TN, and this was right across from the welcome center, as soon as we drove into the state. Yah, like it's totally God's instrument of choice
Other than that, I always have a lot to say, and then I don't feel like saying it anymore. I wish I got more satisfaction out of self-expression sometimes.
