Hey! Just a quick thing as I'm going over the wiki-- I'm not sure how you're explaining Narcissa living in East Gidd? "Old money" in the setting refers to Baedal's upper-class (newcomers are largely looked down on by old school Baedal residents, she'd be perceived as a social climber there), and Narcissa has no connections there as far as I'm aware; also, how is she paying for it? Gidd in general is extremely costly and with no outside support, it does look increasingly weird from an outside perspective that she's living there when you're also having her obliged to resort to giving piano lessons, etc.
If you still think it doesn't make sense, let me know and I'll have her move. I just wanted her somewhere quiet and well-looked after that she wouldn't turn her nose up at.
Y alas, I'm not sure that the crowpearls would've got enough money to buy a place like that outright, and there just doesn't seem to be any IC way for her to have been making rent? East Gidd is a v. exclusive community for Baedal's old school, established families - like if she'd hooked up with a sugar daddy there, that would fit, but she doesn't seem able to afford it on her own or have the social clout needed - but if you need help sorting out somewhere that fits Narcissa and makes more sense, I can totes give you a hand with that.
Hrm. The post does say an agent of sale and ownership rights - I was relatively careful about that - and there wasn't really much info on the area. I just chose it as somewhere that suited the lifestyle she was used to leading.
Info on Gidd is here! Basically it's the Rich People Hell area of the city, so it's a high cost of living + East Gidd, as specified there, is an old money area. I know what you mean about lifestyle, it's just a question of something that fits with the setting as well :>
Moooost of the nicer parts of the city, she's going to need to be working or living with somebody else to afford it; Syriac Well might suit more realistically? It's upmarket, Parisian architecture, private and well looked after area, and it's more realistically affordable - maybe a smaller place? - provided Narcissa's working regularly. :3!

Found it. Hoarding and selling her crowpearls and taking advantage of the many dead people after the plague. http://multiversallogs.livejournal.com/20484.html#cutid1
