If only they knew. They don’t, which is good, because if they did, then we would be in deep trouble. Although not as much in ‘trouble’ as being ‘reprimanded’ for our actions. Sometimes I wonder how they can’t feel it radiating from us.
But since they ask no questions, I assume that we can hide it very well. That, or they know us too well to ask us to stop.
So as we stand before the Jedi Council, we are Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi, Master and Padawan. Nothing more, nothing less. Our bond is through the Force, not love.
