This year my birthday was as lovely as I could have hoped. I woke up with a package from my mum with a variety of 20-somethings...like 20 pairs of socks and 20 caramels and 20 gum balls. Then I got together with a bunch of my best friends, watched project runway, ate pizza and went candlestick bowling (to avoid the frightening prospect of ACTUALLY growing up!)
This is me at 20.
Me and mark spent the day before my birthday in Nova Scotia's beautiful Annapolis Valley. I think maybe it was the best day I've ever had. We climbed trees, picked apples, fed goats and drank cider until we were all tuckered out.
The perfect apple...look at it dangling there...such a tease...
Ha! Take that, apple!
Inside an apple crate...such an orphan...
We also did some of the classic tacky autumn stuff...like ride on giant tractors made of hay...
And eating very VERY buttery corn
And feeding..umm..goats...okay maybe thats not so much an autumn thing, but it was totally fun nonetheless
Okay we did grownup stuff too, though...like went to a really pretty garden
And stopped by this crazy beautiful vinyard (did a bit of wine tasting, yum!)
I felt like I was in a postcard for Nova Scotia
In summation: I am all happy and giddy and in love and in love with my friends and feeling great and joyful and content.
What a way to feel on your birthday, wouldn't you say?
