I would if I could, trust me! Unfortunately I don't have the lamp. The Atheneum does! It's not like I ever wanted to take it from you, but they'd conscripted me for the job, on account of my prestigious and well-documented lamp-acquiring abilities. Personally, I think it should be with Perry as well, but who am I to argue with the Atheneum?

I can probably cut a deal for the box, though.

Well if the lamp is in the hands of the Atheneum then you shouldn't have to open it, right? Listen, here's the thing. My main concern is you fucking my good friend Perry over. I know he'd be happy if the Atheneum had the lamp, but not you. Actually, I'm pretty sure he'd murder me if you got your grubby little paws on it. And, being that I'm about to get married to the woman I love, I really can't have that happening.
