It's temporary, but at least it works. It's nice to be able to move my arm again.
I never put in the notes I got from the past few weeks. I suppose it's kind of risky putting them in here, since it's likely the Scientists can read everything, but if so... Hell. That's fine. if you have a problem with it, come and find me.
Desert trip:
I didn't really expect to find anything out there, to be honest. From the edge of the city it just looks like a huge stretch of...nothing.
Once we got a few hours of distance between us and the city, we started seeing houses. The last thing I expected to see. They looked...vaguely Ishbalan, I guess. A little more modern, but built for the desert. We didn't get to take a look inside -- I figured we'd do that on the way back, but...
Well. That's one thing to do I guess. I'd like to look inside some of those places -- they looked more or less abandoned. Maybe we can find some personal records, newspapers, anything. There might be some supplies, too.
This means that people really did live outside of the city. It's hard to say whether they died or just moved on, without having any bodies or skeletons. Maybe we can find out something about the people. If they were...normal, more or less, with no extraordinary fighting abilities or anything, then it seems like most of the monsters came into the town with us. Which means they've been here less than a year. Considering it's been years since other people lived here, I would doubt that any of the former citizens ever saw these creatures.
The subway
This is mostly gathered from Sakon's information, and I have a few more things I want to ask at some point.
The existance of a subway itself suggests the idea that this place is a lot bigger than we think it is. Not to mention, someone covered up all of the entrances. They hid them. It might have to do with the fact that there are subway stations mentioned that don't correspond with places in the town. Foreign names. For instance, if there's a "mountain pass" station listed, then inevitably there is a "mountain pass" station -- but the mountain is outside of the town.
This makes me wonder if maybe those houses in the desert weren't always in the desert. Maybe that used to be part of this city, too.
Dissimulo, Accido, Spero. Three places we've never heard of. "Sofie." That name's been mentioned before, too. Sophie, Sofie, Sofia. The Trevor family. The posters, the things he described down there... I'd like to take a look, actually.
Miscellaneous
Another murder. At least this time it wasn't followed by an angry mob. Edgeworth had an eye on the body, but as far as the investigation goes, that's the police's job and they're better at it than I am. Anyway. It seems like he found her around 3 o'clock this afternoon, and she was killed long before that. She disappeared around 5 o'clock, I think, or a little later. The body, I mean. Either way, a good few hours before a person comes back at the hospital. Shit, that still -- I still don't... Fuck, I can't even say it.
However they're doing this, it's not instantaneous. But they do use the same body, so there's no soul transmutation involved.
That leaves me with two questions -- one, does someone have to mention that a person's died for them to retrieve them? And two, can they tell before coming to see a body that the person is dead?
I wish I hadn't thought of any of that, I really really wish I hadn't come up with that idea-- Shit, if Al or Winry knew I was thinking this...it's crazy.

I was wondering if you could show me the subway exit you guys got out of, if you had a few minutes?

I know it happened a while ago, now, but is there any information you'd be willing to share about what happened? Any clues or anything you collected? I'd appreciate it.
