Hmmm...well, I wouldn't call it magic, but in my world, I use a substance called Innocence to fight. Mine's broken right now though..

...Innocence? Damn, weird name. That's no surprise -- what does it usually do?

Ahaha, I know the first name sounds pretty..well, you can make a lot of bad jokes with it. It's also called a God's Crystal and if left on it's own and not created into a weapon or kept in a safe watched location, it usually will cause strange phenomenon to occur.

Like, in example, a friend of mine can briefly control time. Before she knew how to properly do it, she accidentally made a town relive October 28th for..thirty three times.

Heh. No kidding. ...Why is it called that? The God's Crystal, I mean.

I see. Sounds interesting, really. I suppose they tend to have assorted powers? Sort of a-- a wild card scenario, almost. Any idea how it works? What the source of the power is made from?

The short explaination is that the Vatican runs our organization called the Black Order. Since we fight against akuma, it's dubbed a God's crystal because we process it into a weapon for battle. It's still pretty unknown how innocence works though, unfortunately.

Yeah, it really depends on the person for the weapon that is developed, though it's more that way for parasitic users than equipment type users.

The Vatican?... Sounds like a church, to me. I don't understand -- how can you use it if you don't know how it works? What if something goes wrong?

Parasitic and equipment...what's the difference?

Yeah, we're a church organization, even though it isn't very church-like in some instances. Well, the way it works is through compatibility. You get specific people for specific pieces of innocence and they just click. Nothing else seems to work, so we can't 'mass produce' so to say. That's honestly all I know about innocence!

Ah, if something goes wrong? There's a backlash, I think, and I've only seen it once but it..wasn't a good sight at all. The innocence rejected it's compatible person and destroy them from the inside out.

Let's see..well, parasitic users are usually born with their innocence. It's part of their body and technically makes them a living weapon. It also makes the user eat a lot because it takes so much energy to use! The equipment type exorcists have basically that, an innocence that has been fashioned into a weapon that suits their style of combat.
