YAY! A plan! *hugs you* I hope Nick and the others will be willing to put it into effect.

I'm so glad Hugh has finally faced up to what he was about to do and has decided to do 'the right thing'.

I like Eric's being innocent. His history could so easily have left him embittered and mistrusting. I'm glad he's a better man than that.

Love this series with all it's twists and turns.

And thanks for your comment! Hugh really isn't a bad guy, and indeed even Eric could have been a right bastard after what he's gone through, but isn't.

What a great chapter this is. I am glad to see that Hugh is remorseful (though we knew he was) and that Eric is forgiving. It was nice having more background filled in for both of them, thus defining everyones motivations. And I'm glad they have a plan! But, will it work?
The thing that would have made this absolutely perfect would be if they had snuggled together for warmth. ;)

I am glad Hugh decided to return Eric, I could not believed he was such a traitor. But now they have some kind of plan, I only hope they have time to explain it to the boys before they catch Hugh. Thank you so much. Martha

Thanks, love! Yeah, a lot of us knew he couldn't be all bad! As for what happens next... well, anything's possible with some of the quick tempers at Freeman's ;-)

Yay! I like their plan. Although when he said something close to "not like the bloody ship was gonna sink", I thought why not? Sean could arrange for the ship to sink and the captain could be compensated. Either way they both would be safe and Hugh can join Freeman's staff as a bouncer/whatever.

Can't wait for the next installment.
