We still don't know how or why Hugh took this bounty on, do we? I'm intrigued by the hints of a retribution for not doing the job; it seems a bit of like chasing like. Both being hunted, I mean. Maybe that's why Eric-the-really-nice-guy is tweaking his conscience ... among other things.

I love the picture of Hugh sitting there a tad overwhelmed by the possibilities presented by an Eric who's laid out before him. What a dilemma for the poor boy. *smirk*

I love the way that each chapter reveals new and intriguing snippets of information about the characters and makes you want to keep reading to learn more and how the high standard of writing has been maintained.
