I finished reading Slaughterhouse-Five and I can't get over how brillint Kurt Vonnegut is. There are all these little links between his books like in Slaughterhouse-Five the main character makes friends eith a man named Elliot Rosewater when he's a war prisoner who's favourite authour is a man named Kilgore Trout and in Breakfast of Champions (whose main character is Kilgore Trout), he gets a letter from Elliot Rosewater telling him he should be President and Kilgore Trout thinks he's 12 years old. Also there were several references to Howard Campbell Jr. (from Mother Night). I've got to check the library for his other books.
Tonight I'm going to see the (International) Noise Conspiracy and next Wednesday I'm going to see Amy Millan. Both should be awesome shows.

I just watched a movie called Prom Queen. Actually after it started I realised I had seen it a few years agp on TV, but I really recommend renting it. It's this low budget Canadian film about a guy who goes to a Catholic school in small town Ontario and wants to bring his boyfriend to prom. The school administration says it isn't allowed and the story is about how he battles that decision.
