Bodies on the Line: War and Health in the Streets and Abroad

How Much: free, donations welcomed
Why? How does war affect health? Are soldiers and civilians affected differently? What about the environmental degradation? Does declared war compromise the health of the countries not engaged in war, or the country that declares the war? Come join us for these intriguing panel on how war affects health. Hear from representatives from Emergency! and Vietnam Veterans Against War and more. There will be light snacks and a discussion period to follow.

Rollerskating Fundraiser!
Pomegranate Radical Health Collective will be having a rollerskating party on Monday April 24th from 7-9:30pm in Summit (SW suburb of Chicago) at Fleetwood Roller Rink (7321 W. Archer).
Tickets for this fundraiser are currently only available pre-sale, none at the door, so get them exculsively (for now) at Early To Bed (5232 N. Sheridan).
They are $5-10 (you decide how much you can pay) and, if you don't have your own skates, they will cost $2 to rent.
We're going to try to have a cake or two (of course they will be vegan, we're hoping to get another that is also gluten free).
