Ph.D (ABD)... or WTF?
What kind of person lists PhD (ABD) as their credentials? The kind of person who does not expect another PhD who actually busted out the paper to be reading it. Why? because PhD (All But Dissertation) = I didn't finish it... it is not a degree, but apparently now it is a "convention."
And it pisses me off, because they didn't do the hardest part of the degree yet still feel entitled to claim it. And it is NOT just about writing the paper. It is about making a point, proving your point, and then defending said point to a bunch of smart motherfuckers who are out to teach you a lesson in proving your point. Basically, are you worthy to join them in collectively deciding which points are worthily proven?
The ABD tag to your self given credentials means only one thing = NO, absolutely not!
