just have to say

It was one of the best I've ever experienced. Each time I go to one, I come out refreshed, cleansed. Mind, body, and soul. It makes people blossom, you look at people in a whole new light, like you've never seen them before. It's the most spiritual thing I've ever done, I mean last year after my first one I became a new person; i became completely spiritual. You can't not, after what you experience, after the total heightening of all your senses. I know there is a bad rep for ecstacy because it "burns holes in your brain", but what you have to realize is maybe going to a rave and experiencing ecstacy and killing the brain cells for a night is worth ALOT more than not doing it. If you let it, the experience can open up your mind, change your perspective on life, make you realize once again what really matters in life, what feelings you should strive to feel everyday which, if you feel them, will lead you to your dream life, your dream friends, your dream career. A rave is a completely personal experience, one where you truely connect and feel the greater lifeforce that guides this world. It's peace, love, unity, and respect, and you feel each one of those words althroughout your being. You talk to everyone, people come up to you just to say " i've been watching you dance, and you are a beautiful person. "  You hug them and kiss them and there are no rules, no judgements, nothing. It's you being uniquely you with everyone being uniquely them and everyone loves everybody so much because we are accepting eachother just by being ourselves.
My friends came up from Santa Barbara to go to it with me and I sat and talked with Matt about the beauty of raves. We both rave the same way. We both were talking about how we feel it's important for each person to go a rave at least once in their life. It's a years worth of therapy in one night. It was my friend Ryan's first time taking ex and going to a rave, and there's not a better feeling than looking at somebody getting turned onto the beauty of the rave. He said it was an amazing experience, just amazing and he said " he couldn't put it into words" but that " it kind of changed me". I could see it in his eyes that he finally understood what matt and I had been talking about for so long and he thanked us again and again for giving the experience to him. When someone tells me they "finally understand" I feel like they're joining us in this secret club, this beautiful secret club where those who find it were destined to find it. Most people to who go a rave can't go to one once because they see and understand the worthiness of going to one again. I just hope everyone has enough confidence and curiousity for spirituality and life experiences to open themselves up to a rave. I just want to thank meaghan again for giving me my first experience. It's totally changed me for the best.
