Since God is the basis of everything, God is masculine, feminine, both, and neither.

I like the addition of "and neither."

It drives your point home.

I'm pretty sure that the bible uses "He" because at the time that it was written women were hardly even recognized as people, and calling God "it" probably seemed awkward, as personalizing such a powerful entity really just sort of requires giving it a sex, if even falsely. Perhaps calling God "it" is just degrading, as if making God seem less powerful. Read about Adam and Eve. And when you read it, picture Adam Lord playing the role of Adam. And think about the role women played at the time.
I also think that most Christians portray God in their minds as masculine, feminine, both, neither, and even none. Most who have at least graduated high school have probably come to understand that "He" as an identifier was just easier to write. At least, that's my theory. I'll test it and revise it as more evidence becomes available. So I don't blame you for referring to God as "he".

I think failure to appreciate hot sex, a good smoke, and a beautiful summer evening makes one a miserable asshole, regardless of religious belief. And, by the way, if you really enjoy great tobacco, try the Georgian Creme house blend pipe tobacco at Castro's Back Room in Nashua. It is fucking amazing.

And while on the subject of the "finer things in life", have you been to C'est Cheese in North Hampton, NH? They have lots of good stuff. It's a cheese shop that carries a few other rarities and goodies. Just like before supermarkets took over and stocked all shit that tastes the same.

Oddly enough, I'm going to North Hampton tomorrow...

And I do indeed enjoy the occasional smoke (tobacco or otherwise). I'll have to check out Castro's Back Room, because I go by there all the time and for some reason never bother to stop in.

Tomorrow? What for?

I live in Portsmouth these days. We should have a smoke and tea or something. I have some of that Georgian Creme from Castro's. Do you have a pipe, or large rolling paper?
