Today was awesome. Why? Because the cafeteria served Cauliflower Bacon Pasta today! They make it a lot tastier than I'm used to, but that's almost never a bad thing. They added onion and cooked the bacon and onion in olive oil. Back at home, Vati just had them fry the bacon, boil the cauliflower, then boil the pasta in the water used to cook the cauliflower, everything's drained then put together with some salt and lots of ground pepper. I think it's best eaten cold after some time in the fridge. Not really a German dish, but I like it! Though if someone gave me some authentic German Wurst right now, that'd be AWESOME! Speaking of German Wurst, West just sent me an email!
Great job, Cafeteria People! Just add in Pancakes with Maple Syrup and Arthur's Fish n' Chips to the menu and we'll establish a totally awesome and beautiful relationship! Wha'd you say??
What else...? Well, my last entry was to welcome the late arrival of a long-time friend, Sir Arthur Kirkland. Everyone, be kind to him. Be his friend. Arthur needs more friends. He spends too much time alone with his books; it's just not right. Don't be put off by the stiff upper-lip and old-world stuffiness and the caterpillar eyebrows, Artie's a great guy! Plus he's got an accent! A BRITISH ACCENT! AN HONEST-TO-GOD BBC BRITISH ACCENT! I've heard people say it's like listening to Hugh Grant talk, but hey, that's them. I listen and it's just Artie. XD I've yet to convince Arthur to become my room mate, since my supposedly current room mate and I parted on... Artistic differences. The fucking prick.
Newspaper Club meeting was successful, as far as I was concerned. I think I totally shocked them. HAHA! LET'S MAKE THE NEWSPAPER CLUB THE AWESOMEST CLUB THE SCHOOL HAS EVER SEEN! I AM COUNTING ON EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU, PEOPLE! MAKE ME PROUD! And those who are going to be guest columnists on the first issue, where're your articles?? Send them in ASAP.
And I am bored!!! It's a weekend and I'm stuck here in the dorms! I so need to get out and do something! It's fucking raining again! I am also bored of seeing girls in uniforms... We so need a field trip to a fucking warmer climate or something. BEACH = NO UNIFORMS. BEACH = TANK TOPS/SHORTS/SWIMSUITS!!! I'm sure I'm not the only one who will be happy about a trip to the beach! AM I RIGHT OR AM I RIGHT??
Heh, but I'm not holding my breath or anything. Since when did we ever have field trips? Would've been a very good idea though.
The rain is making me sleepy. I think I'll go take a nap.
A more awesome entry to come later.
Censorship is a stopper up your butt. It causes the crap to back up into your brain, turning you into a moron. -Jessica Zafra (Chicken Pox for the Soul)
~EDIT: Just got up from my nap. Going to reply to West's email now. He's asking about how the classes and the teachers are. He also said he grew another two inches or so. Will he ever stop growing taller?? Next thing I know I come back for Winter break and he'll be even taller than me! >_< WTF!!
And I really think I'm craving for Wurst... I just looked into my mini-fridge and I still have some Leberwurst and Bratwurst... I also have some bread so looks like I'm having these for dinner. I'll just pan-fry the Bratwurst....
Arthur's invited me over to his room for some BBC documentaries and discussion on the Teutonic Knights We're not nerds. Nerds are socially awkward and we're not. Well, maybe Arthur.... I'm taking him up on that and I'll bring these over. Better than hanging out here alone. Not that I'm not happy alone! But it's SO LAME to be all alone, hanging out in your dorm on a Sunday night and thinking about how lame I'm being. So to Arthur's England we go~ Armed with Apfelschorle and Spezi and other German goodies~
Heh, it's like International Trade and Relations. XD; HAHA!
Bis später!
