exactly two months ago, i wrote that my mom's best friend found out he had pancreatic cancer. the doctor's said there was nothing they could do for him since it had already spread to the liver.
he passed away yesterday.
i can't believe only 2 months ago was the first he knew of him having the disease. TWO FREAKEN MONTHS! he was in the hospital up until a few weeks ago and they let him go home and gave him an oxygen machine to make him comfortable. not sure how long he had cancer for but am just shocked as to how fast it affected his body and how little time he had to live w/ it.
so with all this said....
fuck cancer.
