Writer's Block: The Geneva Conventions & the War on Terror
Do you seriously think that either Iraq or Afghanistan follow the rules of the Geneva Conventions? How do they treat their prisoners of war? What are their interrogation techniques? Our soldiers are losing their lives because we follow these stupid rules. Yes, I agree with this specific decision of the Bush Administration, but it was not their decision to make. We have a military for a reason. If the Administration didn't have to please the media, we wouldn't have half the problems that we do. Anyone who really wants to pass judgement on what is going on overseas and inside of military installations needs to enlist and lose their consititutional rights just like our soldiers do.
