so i'm pretty much never going to escape from this shit.
Okay, so I just found out today that my grandmother has cancer. Well, had cancer. She had some major surgery and apparently if she hadn't had the surgery, she would have died.
Gee, family. Why must you always get the cancer? And grandmother is like, the healthiest person that I know. (Which isn't really saying much, but still.) And not only do you get the cancer, but nobody sees fit to tell me about it. Which sounds really selfish, but just because I'm in college doesn't mean that I'm not a part of the family anymore. Oh well. It's only for a couple more weeks.
And now, I know that I'm pretty much fucked genetically, since my biological grandpa died of cancer, my biological grandmother has cancer. (And just as a sidenote, my other grandmother had cancer also. Her's is in remission.) And I'm hopin' to God that my mom doesn't have cancer because that would just be fucking horrible. Almost makes me want to major in Biology again. Hm.
