You know what I'm tired of?
Those dumb 'Oh remember how great it was back when' e-mails.
Seriously, each time period had great things about it, but people ALWAYS forget the crappy stuff that also existed, and they seriously underestimate the good things about today, while bemoaning the crappy things.
I know it is fun to look back fondly on days gone by, but if any of you ever hear me claiming the 70s or 80s were better than whatever decade we are currently, you have my permission to slap me.
Caveat: If we ever have some kind of apocalypse, then it will be okay to say some previous decade is better than the current post-apocalyptic world.
