Liver getting better
The kid's biopsy showed the liver was recovering from the rejection, it was just being slow about. As his numbers improve, he may get to go home for a visit, and hopefully his twice weekly doctor checkups will become once weekly and he can go home to stay with brief trips back here to Seattle.
In other good news for them, their insurance will cover plane trips and rental cars, so instead of a five hour drive one way, they could do a couple hour plane hop.
This scary episode seems to be drawing to close, and I am pleased it turned out as well as it has.
