I had a happy birthday dinner

 My official birthday is on Tuesday, but I gathered with friends to eat at Quinn's (http://quinnspubseattle.com/) on Capitol hill. It was tasty, the company terrific, and I had quail and savoy cabbage. Don't gape, it was way delicious.

There was beautiful snow, which fortunately didn't hinder travel. It is now melting away.
