Cat adoptions!
I volunteer at the Seattle Animal Shelter, and this December there will be two cat adoption events offsite:
Dec 6th at Meadowbrook Community Center
10517 35th Ave. N.E., WA 98125-7901,
Noon until 3pm
Dec 17th at Publicis, an ad agency
424 Second Avenue West - 3 blocks West of Key Arena
From 3 to 6 pm
Also, the Human Society (not connected to the animal shelter) is overflowing with cats, so any cat over a year old is free to a good home for the month of December.
And of course, both places have plenty of dogs and other animals to adopt.
I realize most of the people who read this are happy with their pet situation, but if you run across somebody who is thinking of getting a pet, please pass this along.
