Joselyn walked down the dark alleyway hoping nothing she
knew was there would try to feed on her. It was a disgusting
place, with the scent of rotting garbage and urine plagued her
nostrils. This was in-genius she thought have a club where no
one would expect it. In the not far off doors, she could make
out the figures, and hear the heavy bass music that was blasting
some odd techno song that she had never heard. These
were all punk fledglings that thought becuase they were vamp-
ires they could do and say anything they wanted.
The smell of sweat could be sensed before the doors were
ever open. Blood was never a rare sight at these types of
places, but it seemed like she had gotten into a harvest. A
harvest was a vampire party that got hundreds of humans
and sort of "harvested" thier blood for the resivours they kept.
Joselyn had never participated in these though she had been
invited multiple times. She had some respect for her food.
As she entered the entrance she noticed that it was all
mirrors. She checked herself out. When she had been turned
she was nineteen. Her hair was jet-black and was tied in a
braid down her back. Her blue eyes showed through the dark
halo that her hair formed. She had a slender form, and had been
kept that way from her turning. That was one thing she was
grateful for.
Her dress was very simple, a corset, with a long renissance
style skirt. She carried no purse with her becuase she didn't
need any money. Her boots were knee-high platforms that she
had picked up just two days before she had gotten the invatation
to come but not for the party downstairs. Angelo was awaiting
her presence. He had been the one that turned her, and she had
kept in touch with him over the years. He wasn't one of those
makers that just compeltely dropped their fledglings off in some
town they had no clue who anyone was. He had always been
different in his ways, and thats why Joselyn appreciated him.
Heads turned when she walked through the middle of the
club. Many of the people tried to talk to her, but when she
looked at them they backed off. They all knew that she was
Angelo's, and they did not want to answer to him. He was
a politician, an aristocrat, he wasn't as strong as others
percieved him to be. Political power in these times were more
important than anything.
"Angelo " she called, before knocking on the door. Laughing
was coming from inside. It wasn't his. The smell of vampyric
blood soon began to waff in the air. She burst into the hoping
this to be a joke.
Angelo was hung from the bare rafters of the roof. His
stomache was open and hooks had been used to stretch it
open. His eyes were ripped out and a growing pool of blood
was growing at his feet. Joselyn screamed. She ran out of the
office and yelled " SOMEONE HAS KILLED ANGELO!"
The people below screamed and some of them ran out of
the club. She herself ran back into the room and cut him down.
His body was begining to turn to ash. He did not rot, because
he was as old as he was. She felt more and more anger as the
minutes passes. Joselyn would not let this senseless killing go
on. She would stop whoever did this and eat their still beating
heart.

Chapter Two
It had been two months since Angelo had died. The killer
was very slick. No one had seen anyone go into or leave the
office. Though Joselyn did no want to do so, she would have
to consult the witches. Wow she had seen any since she had
moved to London. That was going on 13 years ago.
The witches coven closest that dealt with vampires was
just a walk from her flat. These were the real deal that
actually had powers, not the mortal wiccans that just played
witch at night. Joselyn herself had studied the old texts
containg the secrets that the witches had been taught. She
herself had practiced pyrokenesis and telekenesis. Vampires
were not the all powerful beings that they otherwise depicted
as in most texts. Learning magic was extremely tedious, and
not many actually took the time to learn it. Though vampires
did have immense strength that was it. They could also fly but
only for short periods of time. Sunlight was a vampires worst
eneny. Garlic and the other things had no effect.
A older women, maybe fifty or so, answered the door and
said " We were expecting you Joselyn."
Not suprised at all that they knew she was coming, after all
they possesed the secrets of time. These were the most power-
ful people on this planet. No one belived that they had the
power to do what they said they could. How wrong they were.
