At work right now. Been here almost 12 hours. Got another one at least to go. I was supposed to leave around 5. Someone called out, and rather than argue with her, I caved and said I'd work. I am a jackass. And exhausted. And hungry. And pissed the fuck off. At least I'll have good hours on my paycheck

Dude, that seriously sucks about your birthday, and I completely feel your pain. A birthday in close proximity to Christmas is like a guarantee that you're party plans will be frakked from day one.

I hope you can find a way to have a kick ass time on the appointed day, even with the shortage of folks around to help you celebrate.
