Drabbles
So, finals are this week, and, like, I could read an entire English novel tonight? Or, I could play with the Kindle Fire boyf's mom bought me (did you know you can download eBook versions of fic on AO3? I AM NEVER BUYING ANOTHER BOOK AGAIN AT THIS RATE), and go through old notepad and Word docs, checking to see what half-written things I've left laying around.
Two drabbles, with the theme of first crushes. G rating.
I think I never posted these before because I'd been planning to add more drabbles, but I think I'll take just about anything right now. (Plus, they're cute and I just wanted to share them.) Lately, I've started writing some original fic again (baby steps) and it shouldn't be too long before I'm properly back into the swing of things. (Seriously, the deciding factor has been the Kindle Fire and my ability to stealthiy read fanfic in public.)
A few days after getting a case (which meant I could finally take the KF to school without worrying about damage nearly as much), I spent the whole day reading Hockey RPF (it was on thefourthvine's journal, okay), so I was ALMOST finished with a cute Kaner/Tazer thing, and I sat down in German class to finish reading (since class hadn't started, I had like five minutes left or something).
And that's when the German teacher came over to investigate. I think he just wanted to see the Kindle? I mean, it is pretty cool, but there's totally another boy in class who has one and he had his out the day before, which would have been PERFECT timing for questions, because that guy is totally less awkward than me and also was not reading at the time. So, the German teacher leaned over my shoulder to see, and all I can think is "ohgodohgod, the word 'blowjob' is on the screen like three times" and it wasn't at an explicit part of the fic, it was just that the chars were discussing the explicit part, which made the scene just not worksafe enough.
So I had to hide my Kindle's screen and look like an asshole or else out myself for reading porn between classes. GAWD.
