Borked game.
So for the first time in years my game borked. UGH! This is why you haven’t seen much of the Asteroids lately. It happened about a week ago and I didn’t really want to deal with it, so I finished up some Body Shop projects I’d been meaning to do. But I am missing my lil’ simmies so I am undertaking the daunting troubleshooting process.
Basically my sims get “stuck” when they try to fulfil their free will action queue. It happened when I moved the Asteroids into this beach house lot. I thought, “Wow, they can jump off of a diving board into the ocean? That’s too good to be true!” Turns out it was too good to be true. L I don’t want to start accusing MTS2 creators of breaking games though, it’s a featured upload so obviously it was tested. It may be that the hacks they used for that just interfere with some of my hacks; who knows. But ye be warned about the temptations of snazzy beach lots!

In other news, I'm kind of hung over and debating what to do with the rest of my day. I went and saw Twilight last night with a few coworkers and I'm such a lightweight now that the one Long Island iced tea from Fridays that I had DID ME IN. I probably said way too much about my boss, oh well.
Twilight is so hysterical, the whole thing is such a thin veneer of every girl's fantasy: having two hot guys fight over you continously. One reviewer described it as "emotional pornography for adolescents," which is right on the money. But I'm all grown up now and have no one to impress so if I want to go relive the giddy passionate throes of youth so be it. Yes, this is the wisdom of all my 24 years.
What really sucks is that The Last Airbender has gotten god-awful reviews, asdfjlaklsfdjkasd, I really wanted it to be good! Dang it.
Hrm, I am thinking today will be cleaning, scooting around, and the beach. Have a safe and happy holiday weekend everyone. :)
