[personal] Mandala Coloring Book

Okay, so... I'm not dead.  Things around here have been kind of up and down.  The whole process of applying to get back on disabilty so I can get my meds (it was denied this time and the appeal so now I have a lawyer and it'll be up to 16 MONTHS before I get my hearing), the hubby's changing job situation (he's back at the coffee shop)... just, stuff, you know?

But it hasn't all been doom and gloom.  I've started drawing mandalas as kind of a relaxation technique and then I though, hey, if I'm drawing them anyway I should put together a coloring book for people to download.  So I took the first 17 of them and made a pdf and it's actually up for sale for anyone with a paypal account who wants it.  $4.99 is the price though it's set to allow you the option of paying more to support a bigger, better one in the future.

I think if I get a larger sketch pad, I could draw more intricate designs.  I'd have to scan them in pieces and put them back together which will be a pain... and they'd still have to be resized to fit on a standard printer page...  But I think that way, the lines would come out thin enough in the end product to make it possible to have more little details.

In any event, if you guys are interested in it, you can find it http://payhip.com/b/MLxF.  The book is called "Meg's Mandalas" and the image on the front cover is my attempt to digitally color the first page from the coloring book.  Digital artist I am not and I will definitely stick to watercolors for the front of the next book.  I mean, it's not bad but it's not, say, Desh quality.

Also, taking requests for themes for pages in the future coloring book.  Mostly it will be mandalas but I'm not necessarily limited to that.  I was thinking about maybe some butterflies or other animals...
