[personal] Cookies and Writing

Dec 23, 2014 22:30

I really love chocolate chip cookies.

And I'm nearing the end of File 01!!  Woohoo!!  I've finessed the fact I don't quite have a read on Maru's character (though I will need to figure him out soon because File 02 is chock full o' Maru-ness) and managed to catch up to the advance scene... which leaves the discussion that leads to the climax, the climax, and the aftermath.  All things considered, that's not that much.

There is just one problem vexing me right now -- not the Maru thing 'cause that can wait a little longer -- but rather what the exact words are that Jin says to prompt Job into giving the vital information to the rest of the group.  It has to be something that Job can say, "That's not true" about that would lead to the information.  Sucks not having someone to bounce ideas off of.

I'll get it.  I've got almost an hour to work on it tonight and if I can get it, I'll break the 10,000 word barrier for File 01.  And I've already gone through and confirmed my tenses are proper up till this point.  Never found that word I was looking for so I went with "unguarded" which I suppose fits.

EDIT: Going to bed now but, hey, I got Jin's line.  Job doesn't say "that's not true" but he does say "It doesn't work like that," which, speaking of working, works much better anyway.  Goodnight all!
