[personal] And Now I Know
Okay, I've been trying to work on this calendar for TWCC for a while. The hard part isn't figuring out when stuff happens. The hard part is writing out the blank calender spanning ten years. Starts with February of the year Kame turned 15 and then there's every month until into the year where he turns 25.
But while I still have some back-stuff to do (things from past chapters that happened before Kame's 17th birthday) and of course the parts I haven't written for the past running from what happened in chapter 82 onward until the events of the first present chapters, I have finally gotten the calendar written out to the present so I officially know that the dual botched bank robberies happened on Saturday, June 3rd.
Now, granted, the REAL calendar runs from something like 2007 to 2017 (I figured out that a certain event had to be on a certain date and day, so I found the most recent year that had that date on that weekday and then counted backwards for earlier stuff and forwards for the rest). SO I guess the present chapters are in 2017 and the earliest past chapter (the prologue) was 2007.
So, not what I know WHEN the present stuff is happening, the chapters will be much easier to write. I won't have to keep cross-checking everything but rather can just look at the calendar.
Woohoo!
Plus, oh, I'm nearly done with the Chapter 83. I mean, I would already have had it done but between the fancy dinner last night I had to prepare plus all the stuff I've been doing to get the hubby's SOLAR stuff together (his costumes, a towel, his overnight kit, a blanket, etc etc). On the other hand, he's not coming home again when he leaves in the morning on Friday, not until sometime on Sunday, so I will be able to spend all the time I want on the story so yay! Though I will miss him horribly.
But yeah, the whole point of this all is that I'm happy because I know WHEN the present chapters' events are happening, both day of the week AND date. WOOHOO!
