Poor Jin, he had such a hard life. I mean being kick out of his home at 10! Seriously!? Horrible mother!! Then not to mention a poor excuse of a girlfriend that almost got him killed. But at least now he has Kame (n_n)

Yay Jin learned more about Kame's past. And I guess Kame learned more too cause he heard Jin telling the others. Still glad Komatsu is dead though his death was harsh and he totally deserved it.

Lol arrogant Jin. Poor Kame he lost. Maybe next time. (n_n)

Poor Koki walking in on Akame

It seems Kame is still not able to stand the memories of those 3 days. And he freaked out when he thought Koki saw the scars.

Yeah, I had four comments and when i went to respond to them, LJ got buggy and now they're all gone...

Yeah, Jin's life has been hard. But he's managed to get through it with a pretty good attitude though he doesn't trust easily anymore. I think he rationalizes it all as one big adventure so that the hard parts seem less hard... but that can only take you so far.

Still, considering, he's pretty well adjusted.

Man, I was having so much fun writing Akame and then Koki burst in on them. /le sigh

Well, the next chapter, the exciting conclusion to the Yurina rescue, is finished. I will post it for you all tomorrow (^_^)

I was thinking it would be neat to do a side story about Jin's life. But there's the problem that it would either mean I'd have to not tell you guys much in this story, or you'd have the side story all spoiled and I wouldn't be able to surprise you guys LOL

As for Papa K's plans... well, that would be telling LOL. But I think you're not alone in wishing terrible things upon that man.

I am glad Kame and Jin are finally together. It took a lot of pushing and shoving to get 'em there.

It is good to hear from you again (^_^) I'm happy you're still enjoying the fic. Moving to a different country sounds both exciting and complicated! Is it all going smoothly?

(I cried about Ueda too and some of the rest of that stuff, too! But I'm happy at least that Jin and Kame have each other now. They're sort of feeling things out right now, unsure, but hopefully it just gets better from here. I love writing them together!)

OK, I'll go for the surprises then! I'm sure you can work Jin's life into the fic as you go along.

I just don't want Papa K to hurt present!Kame! He's been through a lot because of him already in the past and it took a lot from him to get to where he is now. I believe one of the reasons Kame is punishing himself is the fact that he is Papa K's son and he, partly feels responsible for all the bad things his father has done to people.

I have a confession to make, I have this fear that the guy (the one that gave Kame the scars) is still alive somewhere and that he'll show up one day. THAT will surely break Kame! Whenever that horrible 3 days and the scars and the man's eyes were mentioned, my fear returns. T__T But I'm glad Jin's there now to protect Kame.

I'm moving because of work, and yes it's very exciting and somewhat scary at the same time! I already went there for a couple of weeks to have a feel of the place, so yeah, wish me luck! ^__^V

I can't argue with your Kame-logic as far as one of the reasons he's punishing himself.

But hopefully Jin will get that to stop.

As for that guy, well... unless Kame's managed to take him out already in the past (which, given the way he's acting in the present, seems unlikely), he's probably still out there somewhere. Walking free, in jail, who knows? Well, I'm supposed to know but I'm juggling a lot of story LOL I can't be expected to know where every character is all the time LOL

I hope your move and the work all goes well for you!

Well, in all fairness, they argue a lot so it's not that much of a stretch to think he's gonna tell him off again LOL
