Wanted to write about my trip to NC- since most of you asked and got "oh, it was good." sorry.
The town I stayed in, Wlmington, was beautiful. I want to go to college there- they have a tangent of the University of North Carolina campus. Plus, the college is no more than 10 minutes away from the beach, which was warm, and pretty, and had grreat seafood.
Jon was great. I spent basically every minute with him. AND-- get ready to be shocked and awed- we didN"T fight even once. Wow. Can you believe it? :)
But seriously, it was so good to be with him. I told him all about how sad I am about Mal, gave him a phase by phase synopsis of Tess of the d'Ubervilles, his reaction was "if i was in that story, i would have been the guy who killed Tess." Stupid marine. He did admit that Angel was an Ahole though. We visited the marine base he's stationed on, Camp LeJune. There are so many people! (i know duh) but I wasn't expecting that. It's like it's own little city. I went up and saw his room- if you can even call it that cuz I'm pretty sure it's more like the size of my coat closet. And he shares it with 2 other guys.
I had so much fun, and even if the trip had been a bust- it would have been "good" anyways just getting to be around him. God has definitly blessed us so much, it's becoming so evident.
