Day Nine
Universal Studios!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes thats where we were today, and where we waited in line for 4 hours for the brand new ride THE MUMMYS REVENGE till they politely informed us that they were having technical difficulties and they didn't know if they could get the ride up and running for the rest of the day....so we left....yea total WASTE of 4 hours. BUUUUUTTT we got free passes for tomorrow (which somehow we have to convince my dad to go again) and front of the line tickets to 4 shows...so the day wasn't so bad. We saw the terminator 3D, Animal planet live, Shrek 4D, and Backdraft....but there was still lots that we missed. It doesn't matter tho bc we made the best of it and we had fun, at least Kat and I did, my Dad got REAL grumpy on the way home bc he was lost and therefore not "in control" so we sat quietly all the way from LA to Long Beach in order to keep from arousing the beast and taking the risk of being snapped at. We were supposed to see the HOLLYWOOD sign on the way home too, but once again Dad got us lost....and he was frustrated and said forget it. Don't get me wrong 95% of the time my dad is awesome, its just that other 5% WOW.
We saw beetlejuice today and he burped in our ear and it was REAL loud and gross. We also saw Eddie Murphy (not the real one) and shrek and the guy from back to the future.
So now we are dying, from walking all day and choosing to take the millions of stairs (ok maybe a little less) instead of the escalators like retards (ok I take full responsibility it was my idea).
Tomorrow we are gonna go to Venice Beach and Santa Monica Pier and hopefully to Universal to finish up the rides we didn't get to see. We have two days left here, and it's weird....I miss home, but It's so awesome here and I know I won't be able to come back for a long time. Plus I met new people here that I really like, they are awesome guys and in two days I will be half way across the country from them.
Ok well we are watching Ferris Bueller's Day Off and I can't concentrate on typing so I shall continue tomorrow.
