Busy (but fun) Weekend
Wednesday - I worked 9:30-3, it was my first time opening which wasn't bad at all. It was slow basically the whole day. I pierced a 7 year olds ears and she jumped the 1st time so the earring didn't go through..and she cried and didn't want to get the other ear pierced.I hate when that happens. After work I went home and just chilled til 7, then went to the Whalers game with Amber. Jared Boll didn't play, which was kind of disappointing. Whalers won 4-3 in overtime.
Thursday - Thanksgiving! I woke up and decided to change my earings, which I haven't done in about 7 months..I couldn't find the "back hole" on my right ear so I kinda started to feel light headed as if I was going to pass out. Luckily I found the hole..gosh, I hate changing my earings. Then we went over to Aunt Tracys to eat. I taught my cousin Ben how to "peace", it was cute. After we ate, everyone looked through all the sales papers, and gave me a list and money, cuz they knew I was getting up early to go shopping. Kyle called just to say "Happy Thanksgiving", I thought that was really cute.

Friday - Me and Amber left around 1am to go sleep/wait outside Best Buy. We get to Best Buy a few minutes after 1am and there's already a line wrapped around the store. Someone even brought a tent. Me and Amber got out our camping chairs and blankets and went to the end of the line. We were "the end" of the line for about 30 seconds before a group of more people came. I wore my converse which was the dumbest decision because my feet were freezing. I was warm because I had a really warm jacket on, but my feet were seriously freezing, I was even crying at some point, but I didn't even realize it because it was so cold. Around 4am Comcast cable came and they had free donuts, coffee, and hot chocolate for everyone. At 5am Best Buy opened, and as you walked in, you were walking through a mob of cheerleaders welcoming everyone to Best Buy lol, it was cute. Everyone ran in every direction and I ran to get everything on my list (everything was for my brother Chris). At 5:15 we left, and rushed over to Kohls, where I had to get 7 candles and a few other things. We left Kohls pretty quick, and then went to Target. We had to wait outside cuz Target didn't open til 6am. When they opened the doors, I rushed to get the digital camera that was on sale, an XBox game for Chris, a board game for my cousin, and a few other things. After Target, around 7am, we went to Claires (Laurel Park), then Westland Mall. People at Westland really didn't know how to park..it was kind of amusing .Some people just parked where they pleased, and others parked while taking up 4 parking spots. After shopping I went home and tried to take a nap before Chris's (2nd) Tournament game, but I just couldn't fall asleep. Around 5, dad picked me up for the game cuz I didn't want to drive since I didn't know where the Dearborn Ice Arena was. Chris's team (Flyers) won 8-1, and Chris got a goal. After the game I just chilled at home cuz my mom had a Euchre Party and there were like 20 people at my house. I talked to Kyle on the phone for a little bit and (of course) we got into another (small) argument.

Saturday - Woke up and got ready for Chris's (3rd) Tournament game. The team they played was a Royal Oak team and they were probibly the hardest team. As soon as Chris's team (Flyers) started scoring, the Royal Oak team started hitting, and slashing a lot more and kinda started focusing on hitting our team, rather than playing...and that's why they lost 5-1. During the game, one of the kids on the Royal Oak team skated up to our Captain and said "Hey...you're short" like it was suppost to insult him. About a minute after he said that, the Captain (Flyers) scored. haha. After the game, everyone went to Cheli's Chili to eat. They had good food. Then my dad picked me up from the restaurant and we headed out to Chelsea, for Ians tournament game. We stayed there for about 4 hours. I ran into Jeff Ballard cuz his hockey tournament was in Chelsea too. I talked to Kyle for a few minutes but he was being an ass cuz I couldn't talk when he called. psshh...
Sunday - Woke up and was excited for Chris's Championship game. They ended up playing the Royal Oak team (from yesterday). Chris's team, Flyers, scored the first 2 goals, but then the Royal Oak team caught up. About 9 minutes left in the 3rd period, Flyers scored again...then about 5 minutes later Royal Oak scored. The score was 3-3 going into sudden death overtime. I swear, I get more nervous then the players during these games. About 8 minutes left in OT, Flyers captain (the "short" one, haha) scored to make it 4-3!
