Been a while
Wow...it has been so long since I've used this thing! Over a year actually. So much has happend...and with the encouragement of a certain friend I decided to update and maybe keep this thing going. Here goes...
So first of all, I'm still not a huge fan of the male population, but I've learned to like them a little bit more. Zach actually isn't so bad after all, and we're actually really good friends now. As for Brent...well most of you know that story, and that's all that needs to be said.
But moving on...
So I'm moving into an apartment with Jaime, Virgina and Fallon in about two weeks. I'm so excited! They're awesome and we've had so much fun so far...who knows what kind of trouble we'll get into next semester ;) I'm taking a full load, 18 hours, but I'm determined I'm still going to have my fun. As for guys, as of right now there isn't really anyone special. I mean, I've been hanging out with my friend Mark from work back home and he's great, but I'll be back in NC soon and that's pointless I think. I actually haven't really been the heartbreaker everyone knows me as much here lately, and I'm proud of that. Who knows, maybe I'm actually ready to calm down a little bit...scary.
I do know that I'm going to miss everyone back home so much when I leave this time. All the kids I worked with in the youth group this summer have been so awesome, and I was so blessed to have that job. They're so great, and everytime I see them I can't help but smile. And then there's Shan (who I actually haven't seen at all since I've been home - sadly), my best friend. I wish she'd just move down to NC with me! Oh well, I love her just the same. And Heidi, Ben, Chad, Jill...all those crazy kids I love to hang out with. The nights at the apartment and the new house have been great. I can't wait till summer so I can be there all the time! And I don't have to talk about how much I'll miss my family. Everyone knows my brothers and sisters are my life, so it'll be hard to leave them again too.
I guess that's about it for now. Who knows if I'll be able to keep this up, as busy as I am. But I'll try harder this time (for you Brandon!). Hope everyone has enjoyed the Christmas season, I know I have.
