life
so officially i'm single again (as of Aug 12th at 1:30 AM)... not that weird. and i also decided that this is the good way to go for a few more years. i've come to the realization that having a boyfriend before you are ready to get serious or committed is pointless... it just takes up too much time and keeps you from getting to know everyone you possibly can. haha-- just like Mark from my church said, "having a boyfriend during college is like taking a sandwich to a buffet dinner." although it's funny, it's true. i need this time to focus on myself and school and theater... i don't know if i'll be able to get into a serious relationship until like a year or so before i'm ready to get married.
as for the breakup, i'll pretty much sum it up for ya... paul said "let's break up" and i said "okay". there were no problems on either side, we just are both really busy and we need to focus on school and ourselves... he also feels he doesnt need a girlfriend until he is almost ready to get married.
in the end, it'll be good for both of us... i have no regrets and i am lucky to have made a good friend. perhaps us being friends will bring us even closer...
