A Funny Little Thing called LOVE (Chapter 7)
I know I was not able to update this recently. Sorry for the long wait, dear readers. I was really busy with my studies nowadays and I had to review my notes to recall what is next in the series. And I have just discovered that I am starting to run out of ideas. Cliffhanger, eh? Let’s just see.

CHAPTER 7: rainbow after the rain
Sooyoung was soundly sleeping in her bed… When suddenly,,,
Seohyun: Unnie, wake up.
Sooyoung: I’m still sleepy, Seohyun.
Seohyun: Sunny-unnie is calling for a group talk now.
Sooyoung: Could you just let me know what you talked about later? I am still sleepy.
Seohyun: Unnie, she said it’s important.
Sooyoung: Aisshh~~~ Magnae, if this is not important, I’m going to hide all your sweet potatoes. Remember that!
Seohyun: Yes, unnie.
The girls all gathered in the living room. Sunny, who was smiling brightly, started talking when all 9 girls are complete.
Hyoyeon: Do not give me that smile, Sunkyu? What was this all about? It’s still 6AM and I slept at 3AM watching new movies. This better be something good, or else I am going to kill you and your aegyo.
Sunny: I guess this is good, Kim Hyoyeon.
Taeyeon: So, what is this all about, Sunny?
Sunny: We made a promise that we will not keep secrets from each other. I am going to tell you a big secret of mine.
Tiffany: Is this what we saw on the internet?
Sunny: Those pictures? Yeah. It was recent. So, it’s true. I’m going out with Taecyeon of 2PM.
Sooyoung: So, the rumors are true?
Yoona: Since when?
Sunny: Well, I can’t recall. I guess last 2 months. He’s been texting me non-stop this past few months asking me for a date.
Yuri: So? Are you just dating or are you already in a relationship?
Sunny: That’s the reason why I am now talking to you girls. Taecyeon and I are now officially a couple since this morning 4 AM.
Hyoyeon: (SHOUTING) What the…
Sooyoung: Is this some sort of a prank, Sunny?
Yoona: This ain’t funny, unnie.
Jessica: Are you sure about this? No more second thoughts?
Sunny: None at all. If you think, I’m using Taecyeon to replace and forget Sungmin; the answer is a big NO! I was just shock with his feelings for Sooyoung that’s why I was hurt and was really crying. After that, I realized that my love for Sungmin is something like a fantasy.
Seohyun hug Sunny.
Seohyun: I am happy for you, unnie. I hope you would last long.
Sunny: Thanks, magnae. (looking at the other 7 girls) Why? Don’t you want me to be with him? Don’t I deserve him?
Then all the girls started going to her and hug her.
Tiffany: Ofcourse, you deserve him. We are happy for you, really. But at the same time, we are skeptical about this decision of yours. Taecyeon has a bad reputation for keeping long relationships. But, anyways, we support you whatever your decision is.
Yuri: I hope you do well as a girlfiend, Sunny.
Taeyeon: Be understanding, Sunny. Like us, 2PM’s Taecyeon has a busy sched too.
Sooyoung: Don’t hesitate to tell us if he hurts you, because I’m going to kill him. Understand, sunshine?
Sunny: Yes, girls. But he won’t want more when he is with me. (winking)
Jessica: One thing, I almost forgot. Keep your aegyo at a minimum level please. You can’t help it if Taecyeon would be jealous.
Then, suddenly…
Seohyun: Sooyoung-unnie, don’t you have something to tell everyone, too?
Sooyoung: WHAAATTTTT???
Sooyoung was shocked to hear that from magnae. She was not ready to tell the girls, yet. Hyoyeon and Jessica were already laughing from Sooyoung’s reaction.
Taeyeon: About You and Sungmin being TOGETHER?
Sooyoung nodded. The girls started smiling…
Yoona: We know that already.
Sooyoung: How? Is it on the internet too? How come I never saw it? Don’t tell me it’s on the news?
Yuri: Stop panicking, Shikshin.
Jessica: No. Here, come and see this.
Jessica took the initiative to let Sooyoung see Sungmin’s text message…

My dear SNSD sisters: kid leader Taengoo, black pearl Yuri, Alligator Yoona, brighter than mushrooms Miyoung, 4D Hyoyeon, Ice Princess Jessica, Magnae Seohyun, Aegyo Queen Sunkyu, oopss.. Didn’t you notice that I didn’t include Sooyoung? It is because she is not my sister anymore… You got what I mean, right? I wanted to tell you this personally. But I guess this is the only possible way as of now, since I am in Jo La Do right now. I LOVE HER and I know she loves me too.

Taeyeon: Yeah. I was even shocked to read this message; I thought this was a joke. But I called him and he said he was serious.
Jessica: I even have to call Donghae just to confirm if this was true.
Tiffany: Are you two already official?
Sooyoung nodded.
Yuri: We need to celebrate, girls. We have two new couple after Hyoyeon, Jessica and Seohyun.
Yoona: I’m jealous. I wanna find my soulmate too.
Tiffany: Would Lee Seunggi-oppa be an option?
Yoona: I don’t know. Heechul-oppa could be a choice too.
Jessica: That would be impossible.
Seohyun: Why, unnie?
Jessica: Heechul is a hermaphrodite.
That causes them so much laughter. The girls were so happy realizing that they had so much blessing this year. After all the misunderstanding, fights and sorrows they shared, there will always be a rainbow after a RAIN.
