You can make as many as you'd like, but you will only get points for one.

I made one banner already but I want to make some more. Should I post them here so you can see them? Or is it not necessary since I posted one already?

You don't need to post them here, because you only get points for one. But you can make as many as you want. For one of my land comms that I participate in, I have at least 7 tag banners that I rotate through!
