I actually have the pleasure of being an actual friend (I hope!) to cloudlessclimes so I was very excited to learn that she'd signed up to create a mix for my fic. In her own words, she was striving for overall themes outside of the obvious angel aspect. I told her repeatedly through emails and IM that she succeeded beautifully.
I was only familiar with a couple of these artists, so it was a pleasure to be introduced to new artists and new music. From the still afraid of flying but with you I could die today in Yeasayer's I Remember to the haunting there will be days of peace you'll never have the time in My Morning Jacket's I Will Be There When You Die, each song on this mix is perfect.
It should be noted, however, that my absolute favorite out of this whole thing is being introduced to Florence + the Machine. I listened to this song approximately a million times, no lie.
